Name: Bulma Briefs
Age: Er, I'm guess-timating 15-17
Physical Description of Character: Bulma's got straight, sea-green/blue hair that goes past her shoulders and big blue eyes. She often wears tight-fitting clothing of the not-so-modest variety with a large, comfy jacket. She's got a nifty/funky trucker hat with her name on it that she wears every once in a while when her hair's not pulled back in some fashion. At the moment, however, from where she's being brought from she's stuck in a bunny outfit courtesy of Oolong. So yeah. Oh, and she's a 34-C and doesn't mind puffing out her chest and announcing her breast size for all the boys to see/hear.
Point in Canon: Vol. 2, end of Chapter 15, post-Ox King/Fire Mountain arc
Personality: All Bulma really wants is a boyfriend. Seriously. Her motivation behind her desperate search for the Dragonballs is her desire to have a big strong man tell her she's beautiful, that he loves her and will be her knight in shining armor whenever she needs him to be. She's very romance-based but, luckily, has a gigantic brain full of logic and smarts in her head. Her plans are usually well thought-out and logical, with some wiggle room for failure as she always has a back-up plan in store--well, until she runs out of them.
She likes to show off, be it her boobs, her butt, her smarts, or her possessions. She's very much a "if you've got it, flaunt it" sort of gal unless one of her master plans calls for a different means of attitude, but even then her not-pure heart can shine through. Teasing is a pastime of hers, and she'll gladly do it to anybody, anytime.
Bulma's easily frustrated with things not going the way she planned and/or "good enough" for her high expectations. She's a spoiled brat who wants the best of the best and nothing less, but will definitely accept more. She's loud about her opinions, relatively violent, but deep down she can be a sweet girl. Can be, doesn't mean she will be unless it gets her what she wants. A flirt, a tease, a crybaby, a genius who's proud of her independence and a girl who wants more than what she's been given, it's safe to say that Bulma Briefs is definitely not just the girl-next-door.
History of the Character: Bulma's story begins with her finding the Two-Star Dragonball in her cellar, followed by long-term research to find out what the heck the ball was. Upon discovering that there were seven of these glowing balls and that once all seven were brought together any wish could be granted, she jumped at the chance to go on a summer vacation adventure on the quest to find all the balls for herself. Her wish? To have the perfect boyfriend; handsome, kind, and, of course, strong!
By the time she had two Dragonballs, the two-star ball from her cellar and the five-star ball she collected on the way, she came across little Goku in the wilderness. It...wasn't the most pleasant of meetings, she'll be the first to tell you. Goku had destroyed her bike, accused her of being a monster, and, after close skirt-lifting examination, invited her to dinner at his place, dinner being the huge fish he had been dragging around.
After some verbal toil with the child--she tried to convince him via offering her butt up for a feel-up, but Goku-child was too, "wtf no" for that to work--Bulma eventually convinced Goku to accompany her on her adventure as she needed a strong boy to protect her from all the random dinosaurs Dragon World has to offer since big-strong-perfect-boyfriend didn't exist yet. So the two went along their way on their quest for the Dragonballs.
Their first night could have been better. Not only did she have to teach naive Goku about the wonders of bathing and eating properly, but discovered that the boy's tail was most definitely real. Well, after that nothing could surprise her, right? Uh, no. The following day consisted of taking a beached sea turtle back to the sea, meeting the Turtle Hermit Master Roshi, acquiring the Nimbus Cloud for Goku, and the three-star ball from Roshi himself at the cost of Bulma lifting her gown. And the greatest part? She didn't have panties on thanks to the ever-curious Goku. The boy was promptly shot multiple times as punishment.
So ladida they come across a town plagued by the evil Oolong, Bulma uses her awesome skills of bargaining to assure them the six-star ball if they defeat Oolong and restore the town to its once peaceful ways, they do their job, they get the ball and the transforming-for-five-minutes-at-a-time piggy Oolong as a new member to their party, and mosey their way to find the other Dragonballs via Bulma's Dragon Radar that she made herself. They find themselves in a desert, Bulma naps and wakes up to the sight of Yamcha, the hunk she is currently obsessed with.
Then they camp out in Oolong's special Capsule-car-house-thing, shit goes down that Bulma was asleep for, Bulma is forced to wear a bunny suit as her clothes are dirty and her spoiled-brat syndrome prevents her from wearing them anyway, the house-thing is shot, and Bulma is, yet again, KO'd while Goku and Oolong deal with Yamcha. When Bulma is awake in the following chapter, they're on their way to Fire Mountain where the next Dragonball is located. As the mountain is, well, on fire and the Ox King is fuckin' huge and scary but overall helpless to free his castle of the walls of fire, they rely on the old man Master Roshi to put the fire out--for a price. The deal is that if Roshi puts out the fire then he'll get to grope Bulma's boobs. Reluctantly, Bulma agrees but bullies Oolong into transforming into her to pay the old man his grope-session.
The fire is put out via Kamehameha Wave, although it just happens to destroy the mountain and the cave all in one go. Just happy that she's able to retrieve another Dragonball, Bulma goes digging through the rubble to find it. And just as she finds what she's looking for, the seven-star ball, she finds herself on Salkia Island.
Magical Powers/Skills: Screeching, crying, "lookit my boobies," being a pretty girl and not afraid to flaunt it, and she's super smart like woah. And she can use a gun. Yeah.
Weapons:Her Capsules and technology-happy poo-pills. Oolong took those so never mind. I guess you could count the Dragonballs on her person as a weapon if she decides to risk it and throw them at someone.
